Our Reputed seeking a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team in Dubai, focusing on enhancing the independence and quality of life for children with diverse developmental needs. The ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive assessments and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support children with conditions like Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and developmental delays. This role involves improving fine and gross motor skills, self-care abilities, and promoting successful participation in home, school, and community activities through engaging, play-based activities.
Key Responsibilities & Keywords:
- Pediatric assessment and evaluation
- Sensory Integration therapy
- Develop fine motor skills (handwriting, dressing, feeding)
- Improve gross motor skills, balance, and coordination
- Implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
- Promote self-care independence and activities of daily living (ADL)
- Parent and caregiver education and training
- Multidisciplinary team collaboration (Speech Therapists, Physical Therapists)
Required Qualifications & Keywords:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid DHA License (Dubai Health Authority) or eligibility letter
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in pediatrics or with children with special needs
- Experience with Sensory Integration methods is advantageous
- Strong empathy, patience, and communication skills
